Dr. Allyson Bond
Allyson Bond, DVM, MBA

Managing Doctor

Dr. Bond is an Ohio native, growing up in Medina before moving to Columbus for college. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as her doctorate of veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University, graduating in 2015 from veterinary school. Dr. Bond has a passion for orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and client communication.

Outside of work, you may find Dr. Bond tasting new food at local Columbus restaurants, spending time with her friends and family, or checking off travel destinations from her never-ending bucket list.

She currently resides in Hilliard, Ohio with her husband, children and dog.

Tracy Burkholder
Tracy Burkholder, DVM

Dr. Tracy Burkholder, born and raised in Central Ohio, has had a life long dream of becoming a veterinarian. At a very young age, Dr. Burkholder began reading books about animals and even dressed up as a zookeeper for Halloween when she was only 8 years old. Dr. Burkholder has always had a deep passion for serving her community and is excited to be able to serve the Columbus area animal lovers!

Graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 was a dream come true for Dr. Burkholder. She is beyond excited to be able to combine her two passions of serving her community and caring for animals in her favorite city, Columbus! In addition to keeping your pet healthy and happy, Dr. Burkholder has a strong interest in behavioral medicine, internal medicine, and surgery.

In her free time, Dr. Burkholder loves to bake yummy treats, try new restaurants, and go on adventures! She is often accompanied by her husband, and their adorable fur baby, Cole!

Julie Becker
Julie Becker, Practice Manager
Since a young age, Julie has always held a special place in her heart for Agriculture. She grew up participating in 4-H and FFA and enjoyed meeting people from all around the US. Julie graduated with a BS in Agriculture from The Ohio State University completing a dual major in Animal Science and Agriculture Communications. She then went on to complete an MS in Ruminant Nutrition at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.

Julie has spent nearly 30 years in Veterinary Practice Management overseeing employees and contributing to the operations of the practices she’s served. She enjoys watching team members grow in their skill set and thrives in a busy veterinary practice seeing changes as opportunities. Julie can’t wait to meet Suburban Animal Clinic’s clients and get to know the intricacies of their pets.

Aside from work, Julie enjoys spending time with family. She and her husband love to go camping, kayaking and biking. She’s proud of her two adult sons and was excited to welcome a daughter-in-law into her family in August, 2023.

Darren
Darren, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Darren graduated from the Bradford Veterinary Technician Institute in 2018. He prides himself in providing top quality care to pets and enjoys providing the client education pet parents need to succeed in keeping their pets happy and healthy.

Outside of work, you can find Darren gardening, crafting, DIY around the house and playing with bugs.

His four-legged family includes Brooklyn, a fawn Doberman and Beckett, a Great Dane.

Becky, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Becky graduated from Columbus State with her Veterinary Technology degree in 2017. She loves being a Vet Tech because her passion lies in educating clients and helping others.

Becky’s hobbies include reading, hiking, swimming, and bowling. She also enjoys going to wine tastings. If out and about, you might run into Becky and Bradley Cooper, her Australian Shephard Mix who is 9-years old and loves walks in the park.

Cortnie
Connor, Veterinary Assistant

Connor is in his third year at The Ohio State University and is originally from Dayton, Ohio. He is majoring in animal science and hopes to attend veterinary school after graduation. He has had a passion for animals since a young age and has always dreamt of becoming a veterinary one day.

In his free time from work and studying, Connor loves the outdoors, whether it’s skiing, taking bike rides, or hiking. He also enjoys playing video games and hanging out with his three best friends, his dogs, John, Alice, and Margo.

Cortnie
Faith, Veterinary Student

Faith is a veterinary student set to graduate from The Ohio State University in 2027. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in both large and small animal medicine for eight years. After graduation, she plans to focus on dairy production medicine, and she has a special interest in calves and reproduction.

Outside of work and studies, Faith is also a licensed real estate agent. In her (very sparse) free time, she enjoys walks with Willa, her three year-old rescue Bernese Mountain Dog. She also likes to hike and paint.

Skye
Skye, Veterinary Student

Originally from Marysville, Skye graduated from Columbus State Community College with an Associate of Arts in 2022. Afterwards, she fell in love with veterinary medicine and returned to Columbus State where she is working on her Veterinary Technology degree. Skye is expected to graduate in spring of 2025.

In her free time, Skye volunteers with cat rescues across central Ohio. She’s passionate about neonatal care and TNR. At home she has five kitty cats; Tiny, Deema Jean, Charlie, Emmett and WonTon. And two dogs; a black lab named Bella and a boxer named Kayce. She enjoys spending time at home with her crew, playing board games and crafting.

Zoe, Client Service Representative
Zoe has been in the veterinary field since 2019 and while she has always been on the hospitality side, she has aspirations to become a veterinary technician. She is set to start on her degree in the fall of 2024.

What Zoe loves most about working in vet med is helping pets stay healthy and people stay happy. She strives to ensure every client leaves feeling confident and happy with the care they have received.

Outside of work, Zoe can be found hiking with her dogs, watching movies and TV, and snuggling with her pets. Imagine the snuggle party that goes on with 4 cats and 4 dogs! Her family includes: Luna (Miniature Schnauzer), Juno (Giant Schnauzer), Gigi (Shar-Pei/Basset Mix), Winston (Dachshund), Morty (Maine Coon Mix), Archie (Scottish Fold), Izzy (Domestic Long Hair), and Ophelia (Domestic Short Hair).
